A colourful, human-first office for Xpollens

Xpollens is a Paris-based Banking-as-a-Service platform operating from Avenue de France in the 13th arrondissement, with a team of over 120 people. Their brief was simple and deliberate: the workspace should feel nothing like a bank.

Two As-a-Service Companies, One Shared Ethos

Xpollens and Enky approached this Paris office fit-out as natural partners both companies built on the belief that the traditional ownership model is not the only model. The design response was equally deliberate: yellows, blues, orange, and coral running through the space via a considered selection of European furniture, anchored by the tactile richness of wood, colourful metal, and suede. Lounge zones were built for genuine depth and warmth, with pieces that make a 120-person floor feel human-scaled rather than managed. Collaborative areas were given structure without formality, flexible surfaces that work for two people or twenty without reconfiguring the room.

For a fintech of 120+ people on Avenue de France, furnishing a workspace that holds that many people while still feeling warm and considered is a genuine challenge. Enky's office furniture subscription made it possible to furnish at that scale without a prohibitive capital outlay — and to do so with pieces that reflect Xpollens' identity rather than defaulting to generic contract furniture. As companies across Paris increasingly invest in workspaces that give employees a genuine reason to commute, the ability to design with that level of intentionality, without the constraints of ownership, is a meaningful advantage.

The Xpollens Paris office is proof that a company built on flexibility should work from a space that embodies the same principle: warm, colourful, and entirely adaptable to how 120 people actually work.
